Hey, this is Tony here. Thanks for visiting my site and reading this weight loss article. I have been on a long battle with weight loss and other health issues but I am starting to see through all the stuff that is out there and have been on a successful plan to consistently lose weight to reach my goal. As you will see, I take a different approach because I have learned the hard way and have come up with an effective outline on how an excellent weigh loss program should work. READ ON...
If you are are alive and living a normal life, then either you or someone you know is overweight and desperately want to lose weight. We all want to FEEL and LOOK good in our clothes and also to live a healthy life.
A major problem to attaining those states is being overweight due to the proliferation of the fast food, lack of exercise and all the unhealthy quick fixes available out there. There is so much how-to information out there that it leads to paralysis and so we do not act on the information we have.
WEIGHT LOSS WARNING
Before undertaking any weight loss or fat loss program, you should always check with your doctor to ensure that the weight loss diet program or weight loss exercise program is suited to you. Generally speaking, your doctor may perform a full examination to make a determination if the program may work for you or if it will present any risks to your health.
I always believe in keeping things simple when trying to solve any problem and we will take that same approach to lose weight quickly here! Now let us look at why we gain weight and become fat and out of shape.
JUNK FOOD AND SODA
The FOODS we are eating and the LIQUIDS we are drinking are slowly destroying our lives. In addition, our couch potato attitude is fueling the weight gain and unhealthy living. I have personal experience with this. You see I had a job that was so hectic and stressful which did not allow me a lot of spare time to focus on health issues. Fast food or junk food was the solution to my problems since junk food was fast and easy and I did not have to cook anything (I didn't know how to cook anyways). It was less trouble for me to get junk food and top it off with some soda. In fact, I think at one time I was addicted to Wendys and Kentucky's sandwiches and sodas and if I did not get my daily fill, I would start to get "withdrawal" headaches and feel "down" since I was not getting all that sugar and whatever all that other crap was in the food. Once I had my fill of soda, sandwich and fries, then my headache will disappear and I will feel "up" and fine again. When I was not eating at Wendy's McDonalds' or KFC, I would add some diversity by pigging out on Chinese junk food. These types of junk food along with most that you buy prepacked are unhealthy and lead you to being overweight.
EXERCISE TO LOSE WEIGHT
Let us face the facts about weight loss - you will not be able to lose weight and keep it off and stay healthy without exercise. If you are looking for a MIRACLE CURE to your fat loss without an effective diet plan and exercise, you are either delusional or removed from reality. I am sorry to sound so harsh. Someone was actually this harsh with me when I was looking for a MIRACLE FAT LOSS WEIGHT LOSS Cure and I needed the shock to bring me back to reality.
EMOTIONAL AND PSYCHOLOGICAL ISSUES
Every weight loss and fat loss guru seem to be focusing on just dieting and/or exercise to lose weight and failing to address the 10,000 pound gorilla in the weight loss sphere. You can get all the weight loss and exercise plans in the world but if you are not "feeling right", you will fail at all these plans on how to lose weight fast. Your mental state has to be in order before you start any weight loss plan so that you will remove the mental obstacles that may block or hinder your progress.
Once you start to feel good about yourself by looking at some self-help programs like Anxiety and Depression or Stop Panic And Anxiety, you will have the foundation you need to start on your journey to lose weight. DO NOT SKIP THIS STEP.
STOP RUNNING AFTER FAD DIETS OR OTHER CRAP
If you are like me, I like to buy a lot of stuff that promises "the newest, latest and greatest" solutions to all my problems. In fact, I like to buy "updated versions" of the same programs which really do not offer anything new but are just rehashed crap that was repackaged to scam me. You have to STOP running after these new weight loss or fat loss programs or you will never really lose weight fast and keep it off. Stop watching all those infomercials that is the rage of the day or week. Look at Oprah Winfrey and see the journey she has been on where she was overweight then lost weight and is now back to being overweight in the eyes of some. But Oprah Winfrey looks happy to me now! You have to be happy with who you are when you have settled on a sensible diet and weight loss plan, exercise routine and having the best mindset you can have. Select your proven weight loss program and stick with it. Remember, it took time for you to become overweight and it will take time for you to lose weight. BE PATIENT and work your Program.
WEIGHT LOSS SHOULD NOT MAKE YOU LOOK EMACIATED
I have seen some weight loss freaks who have lost so much weight that they look very scary with sunken eye sockets and bulging eyes, ribs showing, scrawny hands and legs, and a generally sickly look. I NEVER want to look like that and I KNOW that you do not want to look like that also. I spoke of Oprah Winfrey weight loss journey previously and I think she looks great now. Everyone should have their VERY OWN idea of how they realistically want to look. I really do not want to be TOO SKINNY - I want some meat on my frame while maintaining a healthy weight loss diet program and stick to an exercise routine. You see I want to LIVE A LONG AND HEALTHY LIFE! I know you also want the same thing so you have to stay focused and don't get distracted.
CHOOSE A WEIGHT LOSS, FAT LOSS OR DIET PLAN THAT SUITS YOU
There are hundreds, if not thousands of fat loss and weight loss plans out there that will make your head spin from the overload of information. While some fat loss programs will work for some people, they may not work for others. There are many questions you should ask of any program that claims it is the best weight loss program. For me, there are some straight-forward questions I would want answered before I purchase any lose weight fast program.
How Expensive is the Weight Loss Program and Am I Going To Be Billed For Years To Come?
- I do not want to spend an arm and a leg for a weight loss program especially in this economy - I can't afford anything too expensive.
- Is payment for the Fat Loss Program a one-time payment or are they going to string me out for months and years of payments?
Does the Weight Loss Program Work? Where is the Proof That It Works?
- Anyone can say a diet plan or fat loos program works but I like to see the proof that such a plan actually works. So I check for testimonials from current users and I difinitely want to see much more than 5 or 10 testimonials. I also want to see that the weight loss program has been around for a good period of time and that their website is updated to the current time.
Is The Fat Loss Program Too Difficult?
- While looking for a good weight loss program, I came across some programs that were telling me they will make me look like a BodyBuilder. The weight loss and exercise routine seemed ridiculous for my tolerances and needs. I do not want to look like a bodybuilder!! I just wanted to lose some weight and get toned. I was thinking more of moderate exercises on a consistent basis, an affordable and easy to follow diet plan and directions to get me emotionally prepared to start a weight loss program. NOTE: Try to get a good program such as Stop Panic and Anxiety Attacks which has helped me out tremendously.
What Else Do I have To Buy
- It sure ticks me off when I am about to buy a program and at the last minute, they are telling me I need to buy another "miracle thing" that I must have for the program to work.
I have looked at a program called Fat Loss 4 Idiots which has been around for many years and has helped many people to lose weight. You can read more at their website.
In conclusion, you will probably agree that to effectively lose weight and keep it off while at the same time living a healthy and fulfilled life requires more than just a diet plan. It also involves a multi-pronged approach that deals with your diet plan, an exercise routine and a clear and decided mindset.
